I just wanted to follow up on your Day Tour in Cape Town on the 13th October
with Amelia, I hope you all had a wonderful time - any feed back is always
greatly appreciated.

The conference we had in Cape Town was the Third International conference - the
previous two were held in Canada. According to the delegates the tour was the
best of all conferences. I must thank you for a wonderful tour, and the dinner
at Spier was excellent! The tour guide (Amelia) was good, and many people said
that they appreciated her knowledge about the architecture. We enjoyed a
wonderful day with African Welcome Safaris

Dear Kathi
We had a very easy journey back to the UK which finished our week in South
Africa perfectly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay in just about
every respect. Probably the most key element in this enjoyment was the
service we received from our guide. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was endlessly flexible, able t accommodate the needs of each and every one of us, a great source of knowledge and suggestions and so friendly and cheerful he was a delight to be with.
Please pass on our thanks to him and thank you also for the great
administration of every part of our tours.

Hello Kathi, I hope you are well.
I just wanted to drop a quick note to thank you for all your help in arranging our recent holiday in South Africa. My wife and I agree it was by far the best holiday we have ever taken. We were initially uneasy about taking the 3 girls on safari, but I must say that the staff out at Shamwari really went out of their way to make our family comfortable. It was a once in a lifetime experience that none of us will ever forget, the entire experience was amazing and very child friendly.
Also, I should note that our guide in Cape Town was great as well. He really went out of his way to make our 2 days with him as child friendly as possible. I would certainly recommend him to any other families visiting with small children.
Again, thanks very much for organizing an exceptional holiday for my family. We loved Cape Town, so I think it will not be long before we return. I will be sure to contact you when the time comes to plan our next visit.

We chose your company on the recommendation of our colleague Tony Romer-Lee and his staff at the Cape Grace Hotel. We were not disappointed!
Our tour guide for both days was Charlie and he was very informative and knowledgeable of the area, history, geography, flora, fauna and especially the ornithology! He adjusted the itinerary as appropriate to our specific interests.

We had so much fun on our trip and really enjoyed our safari. However, as amazing as that experience was, my husband and I agree that our time in Cape Town was as enjoyable, amazing and fun - just in a different way. We will most definitely be back one day and would love to visit next time during the spring or summer season.

Peter was a delightful guide who indulged our sense of adventure, my endless questions about your country’s history, the people and culture all the while providing expert driving skills and event coordination that allowed us to see every single thing we had set out to see ahead of time.

I really feel fortunate to have been referred to you and your company through the Mt. Nelson because your customer service, attention to detail and follow up has been outstanding. We will keep your information handy for our next trip to South Africa and promise to recommend you and your company whenever we have friends or relatives looking to make a trip to SA themselves.

He was extremely knowledgeable, informative and just a really nice guy. He was great with the girls and suggested adjustments to our schedule to keep them happy. We were very happy with what we got out of the tour. Our daughter can't stop talking about Butterfly World! We had a very positive experience with Rhys and you. The service was excellent from beginning to end. We would definitely recommend your company to anyone travelling to S.A. Although the time has passed quickly the memories are still very vivid
of our 2 days in Cape Town.
Our Japanese business partners were very impressed and got a different
point of view what South Africa can deliver and certainly have become
good ambassadors for promoting CT and South Africa.
You and Grey helped us very much in achieving our goal in getting the
participants all passionate about CapeTown/Winelands.
Therefore please accept my sincere thanks for your fast
organization/reliability/taking care of us. Well done! I like this

It was a wonderful trip - too short, though. Iona and I really enjoyed it, and would recommend a trip such as ours to your other clients. The itinerary worked pretty well - never any night driving. However, the day we drove to Oudtshoorn was a bit too busy - there was a lot of construction and slow mountain driving. Didn't have time to see the Cango Caves, and was still an hour late for lunch at Safari Ostrich - the ostrich filet was delicious!

The wild animals in their Kruger NP habitat - well, it was quite an experience to see and photograph them. We had hundreds of our worldwide e-mail friends 'looking over our shoulder' as we toured, what with sending pictures home via the internet.

It was also good to have an 'in-country' cellphone. Our various RSA friends kept up with our journey, and we had the peace of mind knowing that help was nearby should it be required.

In the wild parks we saw many elephants, 5 lions, giraffes, hippos, buffalos - one up really close, wildbeests, one croc, many zebra, impala, waterbok, nursing warthogs, and other animals and birds. In the African Nile crocodile farm, we saw many crocs, and other animals, along with many big cats: lions, tigers, panthers, cheetas, and a jaguar. Outside Skukuza, our friends from White River got us in to see white rhinos - up close enough to pet, which we did.... and more buffalo, too.

I want to thank you sincerely for helping us have an enjoyable visit to your country.

Hello Kathi,

Our trip was life changing and it has taken sometime to get back in the old groove so to speak. I have not actually seen or spoken to Gilbert since our return but I know neither one of us have anything to say that would be negative. We plan to write a letter of appreciation within the next week capturing the entire experience. I want Gilbert to provide his input separately which I will incorporate into one letter to you. One thing I can say at this time is all of the guides we met and spent time with were extremely nice and considerate as well as professional. We seemed to have made a connection with each one. We are planning to visit central Africa next year and were given some great recommendations. Not sure if you cover that region of Africa but if not please feel free to recommend a travel agency if you know of a good one. Last but not least I must say thank you for your efforts in making all of the arrangements and accommodations. The amount of written informa tion and brochures were most helpful. I must say we were re missed by not spending more time review the packets we received from Rhys upon our arrival in Cape Town. All else went off without a hitch. I only wish I had more time and money to spend traveling.

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed Capetown and your services. The accomodations at City Lodge were great. Loved the location.

You provided a very informative and extensive overview to Capetown/Winelands and South Africa. We enjoyed the conversation immensely. Too bad the weather did not cooperate! Kent and I finally got over our colds. Bad timing on those.

I don't remember if I emailed you or not. I am still recovering from jet-lag!!
We had a fabulous time in your country. it is really an amazing place. The landscape is breathtaking, the people lovely and the history haunting.
I have to say looking back on the trip, that the safari was the best experience even though everything that preceded it was great.
Singita was top notch from the staff to the room. Wonderful!
My husband and I loved Jeffery's bay because we are surfers, but I don't think a normal tourist would appreciate the spot.
We never made it to Hermanus and we heard raves about. So next time I would definitely make that a stop.
La Residence in Franschoek was my favorite place to stay. It was not only knock your socks off gorgeous, but the managers and staff were incredible. We were upgraded to the main suite and were the only ones there for a night. I felt like royalty!!
Every place I stayed I wanted to stay longer. 17 days was not enough time.
So we will be back.
