The Knysna Hollow is beautifully set on a secluded old country estate near Knysna's famous lagoon.
Set amongst timeless oaks and pecan trees , the gracious old manor house forms the focal point of
the lodge. Built in a bygone era, it is finished with pressed ceilings, yellow wood floors and
indigenous furniture.

surrounding forests. Knynsa is well known for its rich green forests and endless lakes. For
the nature lover , Knysna is home to a myriad of fauna and flora , the elusive loerie and the
fabled Knysna Elephants.
All rooms and chalets have been renovated and tastefully decorated with a Knysna forest feel.
The accommodation consists of 15 luxury thatched garden chalets, all of which have a spacious
open-plan lounge, television, telephone and private patio as well as a fireplace for all those
cold romantic winter evenings. In addition, there are 38 garden suites, also under thatch, with
television, telephone and tea & coffee making facilities. The Knysna Hollow Restaurant is situated
in the Manor House and serves fine food in relaxed and warm surroundings. The scintillating, yet
refined menu reflects flavours and influences from around the globe, with a selection of dishes
sure to stimulate the senses. Choose between ocean fresh sea-food such as Cape Crayfish and
Linefish, South African specialties such as Karoo Lamb and Venison dishes or decadent desserts
including Creme Brulee and Blueberry Ice Cream. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks next to a roaring fire
in wintertime or else in the Yellowwood-panelled pub, "The Ruthland Arms". Your Hosts , Clive
and Mark, provide Cape hospitality at it's personal best and will assist in your selection of
a fine wine to drink. Conference facilities for a maximum of 60 delegates, offering full banqueting
