The Western Cape Hotel & Spa is situated on the banks of the beautiful Bot River lagoon and bordered by the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, a declared Biosphere Reserve and a proposed World Heritage Site. The hotel, carefully designed to blend into the natural environment is nestled on cascading banks, flowing towards the estate's spectacular peninsula. A total of 145 bedrooms offer exceptional accommodation designed to make your stay comfortable, convenient and pleasurable. Spacious, equipped with the latest communications and entertainment systems and modern conveniences, the suites and rooms give the visitor both a luxurious retreat as well as efficient contact with the rest of the world - should you require it.

Room features:

All rooms have satellite television, direct ISDN lines for computer and fax machines and jacks for fax and modem facilities. A message-relay system and in-room control system complete your contact with the outside world. For your convenience a mini-bar, individually controlled air-conditioning and heating units and tea and coffee-making facilities are provided. A safe is located in each room. A hairdryer and trouser press is provided and the bathroom is fitted out in accordance with current standards on luxury accommodation, including a telephone, make-up mirror and bathrobe.

Conferences, seminars and banquets:

Fully equipped conference facilities in comfortable, air-conditioned surrounds are available in a 256-seater main banqueting venue, which can be divided into three separate rooms. The conference centre has its own adjoining office facility. With the natural beauty of the estate, the banqueting facilities have magnificent views and open up onto large terraces. The facilities offered by the hotel and the modern equipment (including ISDN lines) provide for a professional conference facility. Theme evenings and special services for incentive groups are offered.

Western Cape Hotel Golf Course:

Challenging enough to bring you back for more, enjoyable enough to make you not want to leave. The design challenge was headed by the renowned architect Peter Matkovich. His undoubted success has resulted in a course that compliments the environment without disappointing the golfer, whether expert or amateur.
