Lolida House
Lolida is a old fashioned stone house on a cattle ranch run by Rick and Brette Hopcraft and was built in the 1940’s by Rick’s grandfather with the help of Italian prisoners of war. It has beautiful views of Lake Navasha and a supremely peaceful setting.
It has a welcoming veranda along the Lake - side of the house with Mt Longonot rising dramatically beyond. In the main house there are two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and two singles. The master bedroom is spacious and has view of the lake. Enjoy the old-fashioned claw-foot bathtub. There are two more double rooms in a small guest cottage near the main house. Together the house and cottage can accommodate up to 10 guests.
In addition, guests have the choice of staying in a luxurious but rustic cottage built high on a cliff, near the home of Rich and Bette Hopcraft and a short drive up the hill behind Lolida House. Up to six guests can stay here and have the option of complete privacy – they can even take their meals here if they wish. There are two large bedrooms downstairs, each with an en-suite bathroom and one loft bedroom upstairs with no loo, but a simplu marvellous view. Lolida never feels crowded, and activities and meals are schedules can be arranged to suite the guest. There are a variety of activities to choose from, both on the ranch or further afield.
