Satao Camp

Nestled amongst the trees overlooking a watering hole lies Satao Camp. An oasis in the vast shrubland of Tsavo East. This is home to a wide variety of animals and bird-life who frequent the water hole. The restaurant and bar area is designed in the same unique African style as employed throughout the camp. Each spacious tent has a private bathroom with running water. The shower, however is in “the true African style” whereby the camp staff bring hot water in the evening. The tents are semi-circle facing the water hole, each equipped with electricity from the camp generator. The chef makes the most of the fresh fruit and vegetables available locally to prepare delicious meals. Dine in the open plan restaurant, with meals freshly cooked on charcoal fires and home-baked bread prepared in special safari ovens. After dinner why not join the other guests and relax around the campfire. Satao Camp is truly “The Safari Experience”.
