Tortilis Camp
Named after the local Acacia Tortilis trees, the camp is set in one of the few remaining areas of unspoilt woodland. The camp is seductively embraced by a romantic hillside setting; Tortilis Camp lies on the edge of Amboseli National Park. This exclusive camp is home to 15 private tents, each with en-suit bathrooms, which offer steaming showers and modern toilets. The Camp is also renowned for its delicious home-style cuisine, high standards of service and views of truly memorable sunsets over the famous Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Home to over a 1000 elephants, herds of wildebeest, lions and over 300 species of birds, Amboseli is an exciting and diverse game viewing destination. From our camp we offer a wide variety of activities ranging from early morning and mid-afternoon game drives, horse –riding to guided game walks led by our Masai expert outside the game park.
