ACCOMMODATION
Savanna encompasses the very essence of an Out of Africa camp.
The Executive and Luxury tented suites combine the romance of a tented roof, with the sophistication of a permanent structure that ensures luxury and privacy. The Savanna Suite is a traditional thatch roofed building designed to offer high levels of elegance and comfort.
Luxury Suites
The four Luxury Suites are slightly smaller than the Executive Suites but are intimate and romantic. Panoramic views of the bush can be enjoyed from the private verandah. These Suites are air-conditioned and are tastefully decorated, offering absolute luxury and comfort. Each Suite has a well stocked mini bar and a tea/coffee station.The bathroom has a double wash basin, French bath, shower and seperate toilet.

Executive Suites
The three Executive Suites are secluded and private with an uninterrupted view of the bush. These air-conditioned bedrooms are large and have a lounge area with writing desk, a fully stocked mini bar and a tea/coffee station. These Suites may accommodate a third person sharing. Each bathroom has a double vanity, a French bath, double shower, seperate toilet and a private outside shower. Each bedroom leads onto a wooden deck with private plunge pool

Savanna Suite
The Savanna Suite is the epitome of luxury and comfort. Designed under thatch, it can accommodate up to four guests in two beautifully appointed bedrooms. Each Suite has a wooden deck which leads onto a private plunge pool. Situated at the very edge of the bush, the view is uninterrupted onto a waterhole. The bedroom is tastefully furnished to offer the highest levels of comfort and luxury. The bathrooms are spacious with a "his and hers" vanity area, free standing French bath, shower, seperate toilet and an outside shower. A large lounge/dining area divides the two bedrooms and is equipped with a TV, DVD and video machine. Guests may enjoy private meals in the dining area or on the verandah
The Savanna Suite can be booked as one unit accommodating four guests.
Included in this rate is a private Land Rover, waiter in attendance, complimentary drinks and laundry and private dining.
Comprises two separate, en suite bedrooms, separated by a large lounge and dining room – all under thatch - the three rooms are linked by corridors which makes the Savanna Suite ideal for families
The Savanna Suite can also be booked as two separate Suites, in which case it would not include the lounge, private landrover and private dining option.

CENTRAL FACILITIES
From the comfort of the lodge, guests may view some of Africa's impressive wildlife.
Guests may enjoy game viewing in comfort from our upstairs Library, or they may browse through our well stocked Curio shop.
Wireless broadband internet access is available for guests. A facility is available for transferring of digital photographs to cd'sThe lounge and dining room is an impressive building under thatch, which is perfectly positioned with a view of the beautiful swimming pool and a few metres further, the waterhole.
The open air boma, also overlooking the floodlit waterhole, creates a warm, friendly atmosphere, where guests may enjoy a traditional African meal under the stars....
The boma at Savanna has recently been upgraded and now encompasses a thatched bar and cooking area and state of the art cooking facilities. New specially designed tables and chairs add to the ambiance of a starlit evening around the camp fire.

WILDLIFE ACTIVITIES
Savanna traverses over ten thousand hectares of pristine African bushveld where frequent sightings of Africa's big game occur during early morning, late afternoon or evening game drives.
Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah, hippo and crocodile plus a multitude of general game and over 450 bird species may be viewed from the comfort and safety of the open game drive vehicle.
Game drives are conducted by professional and extremely well qualified game rangers and trackers, who are experienced and knowledgeable on all aspects of the bush.
The Sabi Sand Area is renowned for having the best leopard viewing in the world and is known worldwide as " The Land of the Leopard".
State of the art landrovers are used for game drives and have been expertly modified to ensure your safety and comfort. To maximize photographic opportunities there are never more than two people in a row on the Landrovers except when guests want more people on the vehicle. This sometimes happens when guests are travelling in a group. The Landrovers can accommodate up to 10 guests if required.
There are never more than two vehicles at a sighting except with very relaxed animals in open terrain in which case three vehicles may be allowed at the sighting. The afternoon game drive is purposefully interrupted for sundowners to witness an african sunset, and the absolute peace and quiet of the bush.
Optional walking safaris are conducted daily, in order to experience the beauty and fascination of Africa's flora and fauna.
Bush dinners and bush breakfasts are on request, weather permitting.
Daily trips from the Lodge to the local Shangaan Village and a tour of the scenic Panarama route is offered. These activities are offered during the day and will not affect participation in the daily game drives.
