This family-owned and operated private game reserve spans a huge expanse of pristine wilderness in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The reserve combines spectacular and dramatic vistas with an abundance of African game and wildlife in its natural habitat, to provide for guests a true African safari holiday experience of a lifetime – one they will never forget!

Day 1: Kariega Game Reserve

Flight arrives at Port Elizabeth Airport ex. Cape Town.

On arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport, met by our representative, and transferred by road to Kariega Private Game Reserve

On arrival at Lodge, check – in and lunch

Late afternoon Game Drive in open 4 x 4 vehicles with experienced rangers to view the Big Five.

Dinner at the lodge

Spend the following three nights at one of the lodges of your choice!

Day 2 - 3: Kariega Game Reserve

Morning and evening game drives with experienced rangers give guests the opportunity of game viewing from open vehicles. Guests can expect to be enthralled with the sightings of lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, hippo, hyena, giraffe, zebra, eland, kudu, wildebeest, waterbuck and a variety of antelope, as well as a myriad of bird species, including nesting fish, martial and crowned eagles.

At least one game drive will include a boat cruise on the stunning Kariega or Bushmans rivers.

Day 4: Departure Day

Early morning Game Drive followed by breakfast.
