Castleton Lodge
Lodge At Singita Private Game Reserve
Singita Castleton was once the private 'hunting camp' of the family who own Singita, it has now become one of
South Africa 's best-kept secrets.
It is situated in the Sabi Sands, almost 'next door' to Singita Ebony and Boulders. Consisting of a stone farmhouse
and 6 comfortable colonial rooms, the camp overlooks an established and popular waterhole.
Singita Castleton has great service standards and puts much importance on attention to detail; staying here is almost
like owning your very own lodge. Reservations at Castleton are limited to group bookings and we believe this camp makes an ideal getaway for families & groups wishing to spend quality time together on safari.
During your stay here, your own ranger and tracker will look after you. Spend time in between your game drives relaxing around
the Singita Castleton swimming pool.
Lions have always visited Singita Castleton. If you stir early enough and manage to trudge outside with
a strong cuppa coffee, you might see the lionesses and cubs of the Singita Castleton pride, in the tall
grass just beyond the lawn, cleaning themselves and playing with each other, often sluggish and satisfied
after the night's hunt.
