Return from the bush to a gourmet dinner under the stars alongside a blazing log fire in the Singita Ebony boma. In the Jackalberry tree above the deck at Ebony, a flock of green pigeons are eating the sweet fruit. They crack the seeds in their beaks, and hang upside down, calling softly to each other like parrots.

Disturbed, they fly off down the river, their wings flashing brilliant green and yellow in the afternoon sun. Tomorrow, they'll return once more to enliven the same tree at Singita Ebony.
