Mala Mala Main Camp

Mala Mala Main Camp is about safari tradition, and the camp has for many years been one of South Africa 's most well known safari camps. Mala Mala Main Camp consists of twenty-five African Styled rooms, each of which is air-conditioned and enjoys views of the surrounding bush. The Lounge leads onto a veranda, providing an elevated view of the Sand River.

A refreshing breakfast and lunch are served in an air-conditioned dining room allowing you to escape the heat of the day. Dinner is announced by the beating of African drums and is served beneath the stars in an enclosed reed boma. Mala Mala prides its self on good service, combined with exhilarating game drives and guided walks.

Families travelling with children will feel particularly welcome at The Main Camp. Mala Mala is also one of the few safari destination that offers a fully equipped, disabled suite as well as a suitably equipped Landrover for game drives.

The Lion's Den is the largest suite at the Main Camp. It is situated in the southern part of the camp and consists of two bedrooms and a spacious sitting room / lounge. Step out through the large sliding doors onto the private veranda of Mala Mala Main Camp and embrace the views of the Sand River and the surrounding bushveld.
