DAY 1 – JOHANNESBURG

On arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport, you are met by a representative who will assist you with collection of your hired vehicle and hand over all your tour documentation.
Make your way from the airport to the up-market suburb of Sandton for an overnight prior to departing for the Panorama Route

DAY 2 – MPUMALANGA/PILGRIMS REST

Depart Johannesburg early this morning heading towards the Mpumalanga province, the subtropical region of the Lowveld steeped in historical sights and landmarks of pioneering fortune seekers, this region also offers breathtaking natural wonders, leaving you wanting more! Enjoy visit to the towns of Dullstroom and Lydenberg as you pass over the famous Long Tom Pass. A small detour takes you the town of Pilgrims Rest, which was the sight were alluvial gold was first discover, most of the town has been restored to their original structures to create a living museum. Try your hand a gold panning.

DAY 3 – MPUMALANGA/KRUGER GATE

Enjoy a day of breathtaking scenery along the most spectacular stretch of the panorama route, which is the Blyde River Canyon. Vantage points spread along this route, including, the Three Rondawels, Bourkes Luck Pot Holes, and the awe inspiring God’s Window. Stop at the Pinnacle and enjoy other sights such as the Mac Mac Falls. Also close by are the Abel Erasmus Pass and Echo Caves, as well as many other quaint towns to explore, before arriving at your hotel.

DAY 4 – MPUMALANGA/KRUGER GATE

Situated only meters from the Kruger National Park Gate, rise with the sparrows to enjoy a hearty breakfast before entering the famous Kruger National Park in search of the big 5, enjoy the company of many birds, plant and other wildlife species.

DAY 5 – MPUMALANGA/KRUGER GATE

The day is yours to return to the Kruger National Park to continue with your safari in your own hired vehicle, or enjoy open land rover safaris which are offered from your hotel. Continue your search for the big 5 in this magnificent wildlife paradise.
Overnight: Protea Hotel Kruger Gate Lodge or Similar.

DAY 06 – DEPARTURE

If time permits head out the Kruger National Park early this morning before heading home, otherwise enjoy a leisurely breakfast before travelling back to Johannesburg to terminate your hired vehicle.

END OF SERVICES

** Vehicle can be terminated at Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and flight to Johannesburg or Cape Town can be arranged (flight cost not included)

** Additional nights accommodation in Johannesburg can be arranged in order to accommodate your international flight departure (additional accommodation not included)
