Jongomero Camp

Jongomero is a classic luxury tented camp set in the southern-most expanse of the Ruaha National Park. Located on the banks of the seasonal Jongomero River, the camp ensures a sense of intimacy in a truly undiscovered wilderness. Accommodation comprises 8 large and well-appointed tents under enormous thatched roofs that also encompass a spacious private veranda. The en suite bathrooms have double vanities, ample cupboard space and a dressing area. The dining and living areas are both original and very comfortable offering a great vantage to take in the sights and sounds of the African bush that surrounds the camp, as does the natural rock pool for those hot days. A team of qualified guides will design your daily wildlife viewing program to both suit you, the changing seasons, and the movements of wildlife ensuring you the best possible experience whilst in Ruaha. Options include game drives in open 4 wheel drive vehicles, walking safaris accompanied by National Parks game scouts (prior notification required) and all day drives with bush picnics.
