Lobo Wildlife Lodge (TAHI)
This is one of the finest buildings of its type. It is constructed entirely from wood and glass amid the rough and ragged contours of an enormous rocky headland in northern Serengeti, and blends perfectly with its surroundings. From the swimming pool, dug out of the rock, and the bar, the lodge offers a breathtaking view over the plains and bush savanna crossed by herds of buffalo and elephants. At night the waterhole is lit, attracting interesting noctural animals. Loepard, lion, cheetah and hyena are often seen in close proximity to the lodge. The lodge offers 75 self-contained guestrooms. Electricity is supplied by generator which is switched off from midday to 17h00.
