Ruaha River Club

Overlooking the great Ruaha River in the Ruaha National Park, the lodge blends into its natural surroundings to enable visitors to feel themselves part of the wild. Ruaha, one of the largest National parks in Africa, is comparatively unknown and due to its remoteness remains unspoiled. Accommodation bandas, built from local stone and thatch provide the perfect setting in which to relax between bush excursions. From the seclusion of your verandah you can watch wild animals as they descend from the hills to quench their thirst and nibble on the green grasses. The dining bandas and bars, in elevated positions above the river, combine comfort and coolness with unrivalled panoramic views. The delicious food is made from the produce of our highland farm. Game drives through the park, using one of our specially adapted vehicles, will take you into unfrequented wildlife territory. Refreshing cold drinks and picnics can be enjoyed in scenic surroundings.
