ITINERARY -:
DAY 1 Cape Town and the start of your adventure
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, and collect your hire car. Proceed to The Commodore Hotel , situated conveniently near the entrance to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Spend 3 lovely activity filled days in the Mother City of Cape Town .
Overnight: The Commodore Hotel - Bed and Breakfast
DAY 2 - 4 Cape Town Adventure
Spend three glorious days exploring all there is to see and do in Cape Town. Take a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain ! Visit Cape Point & Cape Point National Park, and spend time on Boulders Beach swimming and looking at the Penguins.
Wonder around the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens with plenty of space for the kids to run around or simply relax and explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Spend a day in the Cape Winelands - perhaps visiting Butterfly World or Spier Wine Estate - visiting the Cheetahs and the Birds of Prey centre. The adults can enjoy visiting some of the Wine Estates offering award winning wines and cellar tours.
Cape Town is incredibly child friendly with a host of activities that all members of your family will enjoy.

DAY 5 - 6 Explore a beautiful Nature Reserve
Head 2 hours outside of Cape Town and arrive in the famous Whale Watching area of Hermanus and Gansbaai. Spend two fantastic fun filled nights at the luxury Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in Gansbaai.
Grootbos is incredibly child-friendly, and includes a host of activities that both adults and children will enjoy - picnics on the beach, horse riding through the reserve, treasure hunts in the Milkwood Forests, 4 x 4 drives through the reserve and much much more.
For the brave, enjoy a Shark Diving experience or the milder activity of boat based Whale Watching

DAY 7 On our way to Ostrich Country - Little Karoo
Head your way inland to the LIttle Karoo and the Ostrich Capital of Oudtshoorn, where you will spend one night on a working farm.
Enjoy visiting Cango Caves, Safari Ostrich Farm and Cango Wildlife Ranch in Oudtshoorn amongst a host of family friendly Garden Route activities
Overnight: De Zeekoe Guest Farm - Bed and Breakfast
DAY 8 - 10 Monkeys / Boat Trips and Lagoons
We now proceed along the coast - along the Garden Route, past Knysna and to Plettenberg Bay, where you will be spending activity packed days. Using Plettenberg Bay as a base, there is a host of activities that all family members will enjoy in Knysna , Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma Forest.
Overnight: Kurland - - Plettenberg Bay - Bed and Breakfast / Complimentary Children's Pony Rides
Kids under 5 stay free and kids 6-12 are only charged during Peak Season when the Kurland Kids Club is in place - valid 2011
DAY 11 - 13 Addo Elephant Park
Situated in a malaria free area just one hour's drive from Port Elizabeth, this finely tuned ecosystem is sanctuary to over 450 elephants, Cape buffalo, a variety of antelope species, as well as the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
Spend 3 wonderful nights at the child friendly Riverbend Lodge - RiverBend is situated inside a 14 000 ha private concession area of the Addo Elephant National Park. Home to the Big Five, the region is also steeped in history and along with National Parks, RiverBend is constantly involved in rehabilitating this magnificent wildlife region to its former glory.
Enjoy the daily activities on offer at Riverbend - Game Drives, Mountain Drives & Walks, Bird Watching and much more.
The team is geared towards every need and children will be taken on walks with their guide, baking biscuits with the chef or doing mini treatments with the Beauty Therapist.
There is also a dedicated channel on our television network on which children are able to choose from a selection of videos to be played.
Should your children decide not to join you on a game drive or for dinner, we have trained child minders to take care of them while you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the Addo Elephant National Park and make use of the luxury facilities at RiverBend Lodge.

DAY 14 All good adventures come to an end !
Say goodbye to the beauty of the Eastern Cape, as you head to Port Elizabeth Airport. Drop off your hire car, and connect on a flight to your next destination.
