Here too, you'll be delightfully aware of the allure of the garden; the restaurant spills out onto a large veranda, which leads onto a patio overlooking the grounds.

The Manor House has comfortable armchairs, a hearty fireplace for chilly evenings and a romantic dining room. The large veranda leads onto a garden patio where light meals and high teas are served. In the evening there is time for a quiet drink in the cosy bar.

The menu is a creative blend of the freshest of fare and complemented by the finest South African wines.

The large swimming pool is set amongst shady trees, lawns and flower beds, against the backdrop of the majestic Helderberg Mountains.

Straightway Head offers a selection of 19 beautiful garden cottages, a short walk from the Manor House.

All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are tastefully furnished with private patios leading onto the rolling gardens.
