The Village at the Spier - 4 Star
Village at Spier Hotel is on a wine farm just south of Stellenbosch, which is in the heart of the winelands
that produce some of the world's finest wines. Stellenbosch is about 50km along the N1 highway from Cape Town
city centre.
The Spier Estate dates back to 1692. Meticulous renovation has restored the gracious Cape Dutch buildings to
their former glory and today the scenic surroundings set the stage for a celebration of the finer things in life.
The Village at Spier comprises 32 Cape Malay style cottages clustered around courtyards, swimming pools, gardens
and waterways in Spier Estate, Stellenbosch.
The landscaped grounds allow a host of recreational activities for its guests, such as horseriding through the
vineyards, gym, tennis, hiking, swimming, playing a round on the spacious golf course or even visiting the on-site
cheetah park.
The estate is also a cultural epicentre, with an art collection, four restaurants and a variety of massage and
holistic treatments. Indulge yourself at the Camelot Spa.
