Kiplings Safari Lodge

Kipling's of Kariba is situated at the mouth of the Ume River, where it enters Lake Kariba.

Each of it's 10 thatched chalets have views of the Ume River, Lake Kariba and the Matusadona Mountains. The spacious rooms, each with en-suite facilities, are tastefully decorated in vibrant colours, which are complimented by fine wood furniture. The main lodge building houses the dining room, bar and upstairs recreation room and viewing platform.

Activities include game drives and walk in the Matusadona National Park, game viewing by boat, and fishing for the prized Tiger Fish. Canoe trips up the Ume River are also available, depending on water conditions. Access is flights into Kariba and then a short 20 min light aircraft transfer into Bumi airstrip.
