Mana Pools - Accommodation

Ruckomechi is situated on the western boundary of the Mana Pools National Park. It is the sister camp to Chikwenya and is situated in a large grove of acacia and mahogany trees overlooking the Zambezi River, with superb views of the Zambian Escarpment. The area is renowned for it's regular lion, elephant and leopard sightings.

The camp sleeps 20 guests in 10 thatched chalets. The central dining area, pub and lounge are under thatch on the water's edge facing the escarpment. A wooden viewing deck provides the perfect place for gazing at the Zambezi River and the mountains. The camp is not fenced and often has animals grazing on the grass right in camp! Access is flights into Kariba or Vic Falls and then light aircraft into camp.
